From a new set of front steps to a two-level covered deck — designed, permitted and built by Deck Haven.
01 / 08
Your deck should fit your house, your yard and the way you live. We design the layout with you — size, shape, levels, stairs — then build it on a frame that’s square, level and made to last.
02 / 08
A roof changes everything. A covered deck (a deck with a roof attached to the house) or a screened porch gives you shade in July, dry evenings in the rain and a bug-free spot to eat outside — a real extra room for three seasons of the year.
03 / 08
Your decking can last for decades — the frame underneath should too. We build on Fortress Evolution steel and Owens Corning composite framing, so the structure won’t rot, warp, split or attract termites.
04 / 08
Your front porch is the first thing people see. We rebuild sagging, rotting and outdated porches and entry steps into something solid, safe and good-looking from the street.
05 / 08
Railings and stairs are where safety and style meet. We build code-compliant stairs and railings that feel solid underfoot and look sharp from every angle.
06 / 08
The best decks look even better after dark. We build low-voltage lighting right into the deck as we go, so wiring stays hidden and every step is easy to see.
07 / 08
Not every deck needs to be torn out. We’ll tell you honestly what’s worth saving — then repair it right, or rebuild it when that’s the smarter move.
08 / 08
Not sure your deck is safe? We’re certified by the North American Deck and Railing Association (NADRA) to evaluate decks, from footings and ledger to stairs and railings.

Around Philadelphia, Angi’s 2026 data puts most new decks at roughly $30–70 per square foot installed, depending on size, height, materials and railings. Every project is different, so we measure and give you a free written estimate for your exact deck.
Every deck is different — size, height, materials, railings, stairs and site conditions all change the price. That’s why we come out, measure and give you a free written estimate for your exact project instead of a guess over the phone.
Composite costs more up front but never needs staining or sealing, won’t splinter and holds its color for years. Pressure-treated wood is the budget-friendly classic but needs regular maintenance. We’ll walk you through both with real samples.
Usually, yes. Under Pennsylvania’s building code, decks 30 inches or more above the ground need a building permit, and many townships also require a zoning permit for any deck. Rules vary by township, so we check with yours, prepare the drawings and pull the permit for you.
It depends on the size of the project and permit timing. Once your estimate is approved we’ll give you a clear schedule, and we keep you updated from the first footing to the final walkthrough.
Often, yes. If the framing is sound, we can replace boards, railings or stairs and give it a new surface. If the structure isn’t safe, we’ll tell you straight and quote a rebuild.
